"SWINGING SENIORS"
The Swinging Seniors is an elderly services program for seniors and disabled individuals from the central neighborhood, adjacent communities and "The Emeritus House".

Lunch now being served 5 days per week!
the program serves over 700 meals monthly with an approximate 10% participation rate of new PARTICIPANTS every month.
The Phillis Wheatley Association is a place where Seniors AND DISABLED ADULTS may enjoy social interaction with peers, participate in outreach services, get information and receive agency referrals and enjoy arts, crafts and games.
The program runs Monday through Friday. 9:00am to 4:30pm. lUNCH IS SERVED AT 1:00PM!
Recreational areas offer card games & activities, a pool table and a large screen TV.
On-site Computer Lab; Seniors are among the least likely groups to go online, but once online, they are enthusiastic emailers and information seekers.
Referral Services; We offer an on-site Benefit Bank Councilor to assist seniors in applying for food assistance, health care, home energy assistance program (HEAP) and tax services.
Disabled individuals under 55 are welcome to participate in our program!
